So what is a nourished life?
A nourished life is one where you feel well, have energy, have the ability to achieve what you want, are passionate about something in your life, and are generally happy!
Sounds hard to some and others may know exactly what a Nourished Life is. No matter where you are in achieving a Nourished Life there is always something to work on improving.
And here's the blueprint on how to get and continue to live a Nourished Life:
#1 Stay Hydrated-water, herbal tea, broth
💦
💦
#2 Eat Clean-prep fruits and veggies to ensure you will not grab packaged foods
🥑
🥗
#3 Move That Body- daily. Just move.
🚶🏼♀️
🚴🏼♀️
#4 Sleep Well- go to bed earlier to read or listen to music to relax and prep you for a good night's sleep... Sweet dreams 🌜
😴
🛌
#5 Do something you are passionate about daily- write, paint, play an instrument, listen to music, dance, read, exercise or train your dog 🐕

Sound familiar? 😉
Feeling good isn't just move your body but then feed it empty calories and fried foods because then you will end up with a sore stomach. Chances are you won't be moving your body well the next day and chances are you will not have a good night's sleep either.
There is a process and one thing ensures the next is a little easier.
It's not that hard but it is something to be conscious of daily.
By staying hydrated & eating clean you will be able to move that body better, which will allow you to sleep better and when you add doing something you are passionate about daily you will ***saying with @oprah enthusiasm***

Welcome to the 5 Basics... The blueprint to a Nourished Life!!!
For those with IBD who may not be feeling well, I recommend you start slow.
Staying hydrated is important especially if you are in a flare.
Eating clean is important but if you are in a flare blander foods, well-cooked veggies, or juice your fruits & vegetables to still get the vitamins but also to remove some fiber.
Move That Body- for some who are trapped in the house slow use of exercise equipment helps, walks up the street, Beginner yoga (@bohobeautiful ), or just gentle stretching. Just move.
Sleep is important. Once you begin moving a little extra in the day you will naturally be tired and sleep better, which will make your next day a little better.
With all the time you have on your side find a passion. The art collection, stamp collection, start a blog, pick up that camera you bought a few years ago! Trust me it will drive you to want to do more each day... And that's what a Nourished Life is all about! Wanting THAT feeling when your body is working like a well-oiled machine and you are capable of doing what you love in your spare time!
Now you know what the 5 Basics are and how they are the blueprint to a Nourished Life. Go now and begin adding #1 to your day!
