Take It from me. I have tried the different diets, the elimination diet to figure out which foods bother you. Well if you are battling Inflammatory Bowel Disease such as Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis, trying to figure out what bothers you is like finding a needle in a haystack. And now that I feel good 95% of the time I can honestly say it boils down to this:
Learn the 5 Basics and how to keep it all in balance. This is really the trick of it all!
Also find what DOES work and just eat more of that. Nobody tells you that and why don’t they? We go through the food journaling only to find you ate 3 things that probably made you feel unwell. It can be so confusing and leaves you with more conflicting information. So what did you do? You probably said this is not working for me and maybe I need to find a new professional that will help me. I know! I have been there and went through several nutritionists and Naturopaths until I came up with the right ones who were able to help me and make me start putting the puzzle pieces together until I had the lightbulb moment myself! Start eating or doing exercises that your body does like.

So how do we find balance in a world so unbalanced?
Once you begin to incorporate each of The 5 Basics you will see how life just begins to fit in this new way of life. Your routine changes, for the better, and what helps bring these things together is simply doing something you are passionate about daily. Sounds like a bit of a hoax? It is not.
By doing something you are passionate about you automatically want to feel better so you can do more of it. They say by doing something you are passionate about you will thrive! And vice versa, if you are feeling great you will have the energy to do the one thing you love, and will crave more of it!
The 5 Basics balance themselves out.
Staying hydrated makes your body feel better.
Eating Clean gives your body the nutrients it requires to attain good health. Whether it means losing the covid weight you have gained or just becoming a healthier human.
Move That Body will be easier once you are hydrated and eating to fuel your body.
Sleep Better happens from moving that body more.
Once you figure out the above, doing what you are passionate about happens more.
Balance also means just living. Yes, we are going to incorporate those potato chips at times or have cake at that summer event. But it’s being able to come right back to your new healthier lifestyle.
