Finding your passion.
What's that really mean?
It may be your hobby.
Something you enjoy doing any time you have a spare minute or hour.
Something that lights you up a little every day.
Something you want to practice and continually see improvement in.
It's not necessarily your job but can be! (And you are considered lucky if it is.)
This is #5 of the 5 Basics: Do something you are passionate about daily.
I have asked a few people what they are passionate about and they are unsure. They know what they do day-to-day and enjoy it but can’t say that it is their passion. Is this you?
Here are a few ways to help you find your passion that has maybe gotten buried under finding your career, raising a family or just trying to live life in this ever-changing world.
FIRST: Make a list of things you love to do.
SECOND: Make a list of things you wish you could do or learn.
THIRD: Do or try each one. Write a little note beside each after you do it whether you want to do more or it’s not your thing.
FOURTH: Ask someone close to you or a few different individuals, but close to you is key, "what would you say is my passion?"
During the first lockdown I was at home and bored. I would wake up every morning at the same time and walk Sporty- Spice thinking I will be back to work in a week or two. After 5 weeks I was really bored and I began writing again! I found a great Toronto writing studio called Firefly Creative Writing, link below. Every day they did writing prompts online and not only was I writing again, but I also fell in love with writing again! I did this in my 20's then forgot about it. Family and career took over. It's resurfaced again and I am now taking courses in writing and just seeing where it all wants to go. I am not forcing anything just allowing it to Nourish me ✍️
It's never too late to begin something or try something new. We are so fortunate to have websites like UDEMY that are inexpensive and give us the ability to try new things. Keep what you enjoy or let it fall away if it’s not your thing. Once we find our passion there is always an instructor with space for you to dive-in deeper into what you enjoy!
Hi! My name is Milka and I am a learner-for-life and will continue to be multi-passionate being even when being multi-passionate becomes a thing of the past. I know what I like and what I don't like. I want to continue on the path of what I do enjoy and do more of it daily, don’t you?!

Find your thang!
Do more of it.
Tell or don't tell people. It's ok either way.
It's yours, not anyone else’s. Don't let others sway you.
And if you don't know what that thing is for you... Go to the "Second list" above and try some new things and see what sparks something within ✨
Finding or knowing your passion, especially if you are not well... Makes you thrive. It's no secret. You will naturally want to feel better to be able to do that thing you enjoy so much. This is why I have included it in the 5 Basics to living a Nourished Life.
Where there's a will, there is a way.
Wanting to do something that brings you fulfillment and joy makes you feel better! It makes you forget how bad you may be feeling physically or mentally, calm your anxiety and boost your desire to feel better so you can do more of what you really want to accomplish!
GO ahead and begin writing about the four ways to find your passion and see where it takes you! Life is always full of surprises.
